Unable to setup and Enter to server to administrate

Hi,

I'm running the last version FileZilla Server 0.9.60 Beta. But it has been said that the latest stable version of FileZilla Server is 0.9.60.2 but I can't get it.

Config: I choose to "Do not install as service, start sever automaticaly (not recommended)"

Config: The port I choosen for the Admin interface if FileZilla Server listen On is 14147 (default)

Config: The server Interface shloud be started: "Start it user log on (apply to all users (default)"

I started manuelly the FileZilla Server via the Windows menu "Start FileZilla Server"

And it does not work. The errror message within the main window is "Error: Connection to server lost.."

PLease I added a screen of the admin interface: the 192.168.1.1 is the IP address of my local server where the FileZilla server is installed an the password is a random password.



Any idea ? Thx in advance.

Unless you have specifically enabled remote administration, FileZilla Server can only be administrated through localhost.

I did also tested FTP Client local access. I'll try to change enabled remote administration.

0.60.2 identifies itself as 0.60. IIRC, only the Installer was changed.

Check if the server engine is really running. And, use "localhost" for administration.

Hi,

I fixed the issue using "localhost" Enter the Administrative Host. I don't know if it will works fine with a true doted IP address for a remote connexion/computer. I guess yes, I'll try soon.

FTP connexion works fine. Thanks.

However, SFTP transfert does not work. The error messages in the FTP client are:

Statut : Connexion à localhost...
Réponse : fzSftp started, protocol_version=8
Commande : open "Yvonnick@localhost" 22
Erreur : Network error: Connection refused
Erreur : Impossible d'établir une connexion au serveur (English: Impossible to establish a connexion at the server)

Here is a screenshot of the SFTP config.



I'm sure of both, the password and the SSH Key & Certificate. I tried multipe options change, including "Disallow plain unencrypted FTP". I also took a look at the "Security Options", with no result.

Any idea ?

FileZilla Server does not speak SFTP. Note that SFTP and FTPS (FTP over TLS) are two entirely different things. Sure, the name is similar, and they have the very same purpose, but the harsh fact remains that they have absolutely nothing in common.

I agree, SFTP is with SSH. SFTP and FTPS or FTP over TLS are differents.
