Filezilla server keeps crashing
Our server keeps crashing every few weeks. It will give the attached error and I am no longer able to see any users or folders. I tried to enable all the settings that the error showed but none of it worked. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Re: Filezilla server keeps crashing
Does the account the FileZilla Server service runs under have permission to write into its own program directory?

Re: Filezilla server keeps crashing
not sure. It runs on a seperate server. basically i just want to restore the data
Re: Filezilla server keeps crashing
Everything is stored inside "FileZilla Server.xml". If that file contains your data, good. But if it has been overwritten (due to crash corruption), then everything is gone and you need to restore it from your latest backup.

Re: Filezilla server keeps crashing
That is what we are doing. How do we prevent this from happening again?
Re: Filezilla server keeps crashing
You mean, apart from preventing the crash from happening in the first place? Nothing. Each and every open file is in danger when the OS crashes (Attempted Write operation at time of crash = possible corruption).
Os the server directory on NTFS? If so, then the NTFS Journal should take care of this and roll back the failed Write op.
