Filezilla Server Service Hung
have a strange issue and hope someone can shed some light on this.
We have legagcy Windows 2008 Web Server which has FileZilla Server 0.9.53 beta running on it.
FileZilla has been running without any issues.
Since Wednesday evening we have found that FileZilla Server no longer functions correctly, the service shows it is running, but when you open up the FileZilla interface it is showing as waiting for connection.
Restarting the FileZilla Server Service does not work, as it stays in a "stopping" state. Even trying to use the Taskkill command to kill the PID does not work.
The only way to get FileZilla Server running again is to reboot the Windows 2008 Web Server.
Then FileZilla Server works without any problems for about two/three hours then we have the same scenario.
Has anyone come across this problem before?
I am thinking of upgrading to the latest version, but I need to find a way to export all the user accounts and settings, is there a way to do this?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Filezilla Server Service Hung
Please update to the most recent version of FileZilla Server, we cannot support outdated versions.
Re: Filezilla Server Service Hung
MS botched the Rollup for July. Uninstalling it should resurrect the FTP Server (please update to the latest).
From what I know they have already included a fix in the Preview for next month's Rollup.

Re: Filezilla Server Service Hung
Thanks for the responses, one last question, is there any way I can backup the settings i.e users, passwords, and then install the latest version?
This would be a show stopper for us, as there are approx. 100 users accounts.
Thanks.

Everthing's stored in FileZilla Server.xml located in the installation directory.

Re: Filezilla Server Service Hung
Thanks for the tip.
One final question, what would be the best way of "upgrading" to the latest version without losing any settings/configurations, etc?
Thanks again for the great help and support.
