Hi,
I tried to make a ftp server with Filezilla server on Windows 7.
I have a IBM GPFS Filesystem on this Windows what is GPFS client and I set the directory as a homefoler on Filezilla server.
Then files and directories are created by 570 permission with weird uid and gid if I upload file or create folder on FTP as attached screenshot.
I can't delete these files and directories created from FTP. I must delete these on GPFS server with "root" account if I need to delete.
I just want to know how it created with normal permission when I upload by FTP.
I know that I am using GPFS filesystem and it is unusual case. Is there anyone who can solve this?

That listing simply does not come from FileZilla Server.
Re: File created as 570 permission on home directory
FTP does not care about anything permission-related. At all. Not UNIX, not Windows, not GPFS.
My guess is that these permissions are set as default or fallback by the GPFS driver due to the lack of permission information coming from the upload of these files. Maybe you can set some kind of UMASK for defining the default permissions to set?
