Hi guys,
just a quick question.
In our production enviorment we have a Filezilla server running which supports FTPS but some of our partners need to use SFTP in order to connect to us.
I read that filezilla doesnt support SFTP?
Does Pro server support SFTP?
Sorry for my bad english.
Thanks in advance guys

Both FileZilla Client and FileZilla Client Pro support SFTP.
FileZilla Server does NOT support SFTP. A Pro version of the Server doesn't exist.

May I ask why FileZilla Server doesn't support SFTP?
Unfortunately we need to look around for another FTP server solution because of the lack of SFTP support in FileZilla Server.

While FTPS is just a thin layer of TLS around FTP, SFTP on the other hand has absolutely nothing in common with FTP(S). Sure, similar name and purpose, but that's where the similarities end.

Does it mean that we need to use a different server for sFTP purpose as it is not supported by Filezilla server?

Yes, for SFTP (based on SSH2), you need another server software (OpenSSH or similar).
