Release Date for FileZilla Server

#1 Post by theBishop » 2007-12-06 21:09

I noticed the server version is 0.9.24. Beta - Any estimate on the official release date? I must say I think a lot of thought was put into this application. Didn't take long at all the test the deployment and feasibility. So far, I think it is a great product.
Thanks for any info you can provide!

Is the rewrite coming soon, and will it support linux also?

I really need gui based ftp server for linux, and I have used like 2 years already filezilla server and I love it.

atm, I think, there is not a gui ftp server for linux.

Really no idea, I'm still very busy with the client. And I'm thinking about dropping the GUI for the server.

Please, dont do that!!!

Your ftp server for windows is marvelous! Only thing is that if you exit the window it will exit controll image from sys tray also.

But man, you would be the best guy in this world, if you bring first gui ftp server into linux world!
Also making deb packets and rpm packets would be fantastic.
