Empty root directory when logged in through FTP over TLS

#1 Post by james.chim » 2018-12-27 07:09

Dear support,

As said, I have several servers failed to list the directory only when connected over TLS.
Would you please provide some workarounds to troubleshoot the issue?

Best regards,
James

Everything seems normal from the server client dialogue screen.
I try to compare it with another client that does not have issue.
Contents are exactly the same.

Which version of FileZilla Server are you using?

Which client software (product and version) are you using?

Looks like a firewall or NAT router interfering with the connection. If you look at the network traffic server-side you should see a TLS alert followed by a FIN or RST on the data connection. If you look at the network traffic client-side either the alert is missing, or the FIN/RST.
