Hi,
We have a ftp server in a DMZ connected on an public ip address and all our client is using simple ftp on port 21.
Now we have a demand to have other client connect with FTPS protocole.
But when we configure the FTP over TLS with certificate all old client can't now joined the server .
Is it possible using the both protocole on the same server ??
Regards

Re: FTP and FTPS on the same server
Yes. There is nothing special to it. Works out of the box.
Re: FTP and FTPS on the same server
Yes, it's even possible to run all three (FTP, FTP over TLS Explicit on port 21 and FTP over TLS Implicit on port 990) at the same time. In the end, it's all FTP.
Just make sure not to require FTPS for logon. "Disallow plain unencrypted FTP" must be unchecked in the TLS settings. "Force TLS for user login" must be unchecked in any user and group in use.
