our client has been sending files to us for years via the FTP site but for the past couple of months their files have come thru as csv.filepart which we are unable to open? Nothing has changed on the processes being used for sending or receiving the files and we are stumped as to what the problem could be. They have had to send the files thru unsecured emails which we do not want to continue doing. Any ideas on what the problem may be? Thank you Larry

The FTP client used by them uses temporary filenames for uploads. The files are uploaded with a temporary filename and then renamed. The final renaming operation requires Delete permission. Check that.

Additional cause could be an overzealous "security" software holding the uploaded file open for scanning and thus blocking the renaming operation...
