You appear to be behind a NAT router. Please configure the passive mode settings and forward a range of ports in your router.

This appears on my screen when I attempt to log on to make changes to a website I administer. I am not very adept at some of this stuff, Please help. Thank you.Canuck.

Do as the warning suggests, configure the passive mode settings and enable FTP over TLS.

From your description, I suspect you may have downloaded the wrong program. For transferring files, you need FileZilla Client.
