I would like to lock a FileZilla FTP server down (basically as it is already setup) blocking all and only allow set IP. However, the connecting client doesn't have a static IP and so manually updating this allow IP is a bit of a pain.
The client has a CNAME record linked to the dynamic IP so I would like to be able to update the allow IP based on a CNAME record (that the Server checks to reduce the chance of spoofing) and it would always used in conjunction with a very strong password.
Is there any way to do this?
Locking down access from dynamic IP?

To my knowledge, it's not possible. Only static IPs and IP ranges can be blocked.
Sounds rather like a job for a good firewall.
