Hi

I have a general setting to block * IP addresses and allow a number of IP addresses access to the entire server.

I want to allow certain groups access to certain folders so i have added them in at the group level but this does not work. It appears the only way to allow them access is to add them in at the general level then add them in as exclusions to all other groups. Is this correct? It doesn't seem to make much sense.

Try putting the blanket ban to the group and leave the ban in the user's settings empty.
