Upgrade Help

Hello,
I'm in need of some help upgrading my server from 0.9.41 to the latest version.
Is it just a straight foward upgrade? i just install the new version and it will update my existing server and not remove any existing settings or mappings?
What is the best way to backup my current install before the upgrade?
also with the newest version can I accept multiple formats at the same time? we have several users that need the older FTP and others that want to use sftp or as2

Thanks
Bruce

Latest and last version of the legacy FileZilla Server is 0.60.2. For learning about breaking changes, please use https://filezilla-project.org/versions.php?type=server.

All settings of the server itself are inside its Program Files directory ("FileZilla Server.xml"). Make a copy of that file and keep it somewhere safe. Apart from a few breaking changes (Alias format, IP filter syntax), all settings are preserved on updating.

FileZilla Server does support the FTP protocol (in its plain flavor, as well as the Explicit+Implicit FTP over TLS secure ones). It does not support SFTP (based on SSH2) or other protocols.

Please note that FileZilla Server is currently rewritten from the ground up, for getting a modernized FTP server. The legacy code is not updated, anymore.

So is legacy FileZilla Server is 0.60.2. the last version of the server or is there a newer version that i should be upgrding / migrating to ?

Thanks
Bruce

0.60.2 is currently the latest version. Any further version of that dated code is unlikely.

The new FileZilla Server is still in development. Once it launches, the legacy server will become EOL.
