FTP server not connecting from outside

Hi,
We are using sophos firewall, we are trying to set up FTP server and forwarding the port(21 or 26) from out network.
We we check from https://ftptest.net/ , we are getting following
Error: Connection attempt timed out
Timeouts are usually caused by some router and/or firewall that is interrupting the connection.
Try uninstalling all firewalls and plug your computer directly into your modem, thus bypassing the router.
can you support it for the same.
