After the last update, Filezilla does not open. When hovering over the icon on the taskbar a blank window shows.If I click on the blank window the screen flashes but does not become active. Please help.

Are you speaking about the Client or the Server? Here is the forum for the "FileZilla Server" product, which did not get any update in a long time.
