Remote Login Issue

Hi
Probably a dumb question, but...

I set up the FileZilla server, and it works fine for connections within my home network, using the latest FileZilla client. But when I attempt to connect from a remote location, the username/password are rejected. I'm guessing I need to login using an id of the form <name>@<serverid> & password instead of just using the <name>. If I'm right, what's the <serverid>, and if not what am I doing wrong?

Port Forwarding is set up on my router for tcp 21-22 & 7770 - 7790 for passive.

TIA.

Ah, now it's saying:
Error: A certificate in the chain was signed using an insecure algorithm
Error: Received certificate chain could not be verified.
Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted".
Error: Could not connect to server

Contact your server administrator or server hosting provider and have the server's certificate chain replaced with a secure one.

On the Arch Linux binary

https://archlinux.org/packages/communit ... filezilla/

the "A certificate in the chain was signed using an insecure algorithm" warning can be ignored and connect the server, couldn't it be ignored on Windows too?

@OP - If you connect from the remote location, does the FileZilla Server show and respond to the connection made? If it stays silent, there's a rogue FTP server in the way (probably your router's) that you will have to disable, first.

If it is indeed FileZilla Server you're reaching from remote, what certificates did you use? The self-generated cert from FileZilla Server should work (unless it's a very old version), and it's a single certificate (no chain).
