How to export and import
I have and old server I’m decommissioning that’s running FileZilla Server 0.9.37 and I tried to export/import the “FileZilla server.xml” file to migrate the settings/users from the old to new server but it didn’t work. The version of FileZilla on the new box is 0.9.60.
The path I grabbed the file from on the old server is “C:\Program Files (x86)\FileZilla Server”. Is there another file I should move over or perhaps a regkey? That XML does have all the data in there, I’m not sure why it won’t accept it on the new one.

Re: How to export and import
FYI I've upgraded the version on the old server to match 0.9.60 but none of the settings carried over
Re: How to export and import
Did you stop the service (and not only the Admin interface) before replacing the XML and restart it then?
Shortly, there will be the new Server 1.0.0 (now at rc5), as even 0.9.60 is ancient.

Re: How to export and import
Ah simple fix! I forgot to restart the service. Thanks! Everything imported perfectly.
Re: How to export and import
If you want to try out the new server (RC5 out yesterday), during install it should automatically import all the relevant old settings.
It'd be very much appreciated if you could test it out, so to check whether import went fine or anything's missing.

Re: How to export and import
It converts the old configuration to the new one. Takes two arguments, the old settings file and the directory for the new settings. The server stores its settings at C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\filezilla-server
