Using FileZilla Server 1.0.0 and the nightly from 18.9., both have this bug:
If you have a group with German umlauts (öäüß), they will be correctly displayed in the Settings / Groups list.
But on the Settings / Users page, they will not displayed as a selected group at the "Member of groups:" combo box.

Thanks for the report! The issue has now been fixed. You'll find the correction in the next nightly builds and releases.
