I installed version 1.0.1 of the Filezilla server using my normal, non-administrative, Windows account. I start the server from the Start menu in my normal account. Using the Filezilla administration program, I am able to set the location of log files. Yet, when I attempt to open any of the log files, I get the message "You do not have permission to access this file"
I must change to the Windows admin account or open a text editor with "Run as Administrator" to open the file.
Is this REALLY the way Filezilla server was intended to create log files?

Re: Log Files Access Permission
Thanks. I was confused that I can start the server without using an admin account, but not access log files.
Appreciate the quick response.

Re: Log Files Access Permission
Logfiles could hold confidential or personal information, nothing everyone should be able to access.
