Hello.

I am currently testing the new FileZilla Server (ver 1.1.0).
I am a beginner.
Please forgive my lack of study.

Please tell me how to set the Passive mode item of the FTP Server item of FileZilla Server.

Please see the attached file.

By default, From is set to 49152 and To is set to 65534. If I use the default settings, the size of the open port range will be 16383. Is this too large?
What is the appropriate size for the port open range? For example, is it about 100 or about 1000?

Also, does the size of the port open range relate to the number of users who can connect at the same time?
For example, if the size of the port open range is 100 (ex. From: 49152, To: 49251), can more than 101 users connect?

What are the benefits of increasing the size of the port open range?

I want to know about the above points.

The more ports the better.

Rule of thumb: You need at least as many ports as the maximum amount of transfers done in 4 minutes. With very small files and a client in the same LAN as the server, this is easily many thousands.
