About the problem of "Writable directory structure" of FileZilla Server (Ver1.2.0)
Hello.
I am currently testing the new FileZilla Server (ver 1.2.0).
I am a beginner.
Please forgive my lack of study.
First, uncheck "Writable directory structure" on the "Users" screen of FileZilla Server, and click the Apply button. After that, even if I check "Writable directory structure" again, I can not create folder.
Is this a bug? Or is my usage wrong?
The "Writable directory structure" is already checked, but when I try to create a folder named "abc" like an attached file, an error occurs on the FTP client.

Re: About the problem of "Writable directory structure" of FileZilla Server (Ver1.2.0)
Cannot reproduce this, the directory can be created immediately again after re-enabling the "Writable directory structure".
After re-checking the box, you need to press Apply again. Maybe you forgot?

Re: About the problem of "Writable directory structure" of FileZilla Server (Ver1.2.0)
Thank you for your reply.
Thank you, Mr.boco.
Sorry, I definitely clicked the Apply button.
This time, I tested it again in my environment.
Please see Figure 2.
It looks like there is a bug in the "Writable directory structure" part.
At the moment, FileZilla Server (Ver1.1.0) seems to be more stable.

Re: About the problem of "Writable directory structure" of FileZilla Server (Ver1.2.0)
Yes, that's one display issue I forgot to report yesterday. When you switch accounts in the User/Group settings or close and reopen, the Permission boxes are not correctly populated/updated. Only if you switch to a different Mount point and back, they are.
So, the "Writable directory structure" appeared to be checked, while in reality, it wasn't. Apply stores the true toggle, which was off, only the displayed check mark was wrong.

Thank you for reply.
Thank you , Mr.boco.
So can I think of this issue as a bug?
If so, will the FileZilla Server bug be fixed in Ver1.3.0 ?

Yes.So can I think of this issue as a bug?
I'm not a developer. However, reproducible bugs are usually fixed very swiftly. If so, will the FileZilla Server bug be fixed in Ver1.3.0 ?
