Thank you for reply.
Thank you, Mr.MALAGOLI.
I want to compare both of older version and new version for future reference purposes.
if it’s okay with you, please send me the email that have your ftp server's information like the below.
ver 0.9.60 beta or old version
ftp server adress:****
user name:****
password:****
ver 1.2.0
ftp server adress: ****

This time I created the following temporary email address (Please send email to the following address.).
email address: myukafaru[at]usako.net
When you make the email , please change the above [at] to @ .
As I have some movie files, I will upload and download these file to check speed.
I will report the result to this topic.
Also , after this test, I will promise to delete the above email account and information that you send me for security and privacy.
Of course, I will delete information from ftp client, too.

Re: Slow single file download speed using filezilla server version 1.2.0 compared to 0.9.x
Godmorning,
I test an old version of FileZilla server inside our infrastructure (0.9.50 Beta version).
The speed transfer is OK. I don't see the issue.
I have a test line with a bandwidth of about 2MBps in download.
If I download a single file the speed is my full bandwidth 2MBps.
If download 3 files at the same time the speed for each session is about 600KBps
So seems that it is a problem only on FileZilla server 1.2.0 version.
Best regards.

Thank you for your information.
Thank you,Mr.MALAGOLI.
Also,I'm sorry, Mr.MALAGOLI.
Please ignore regarding my email address.
Dear Mr.Kosse.
Is this a problem with socket buffer sizes that Mr.Kosse mentioned earlier ?
Has there been any change in the data transfer algorithm compared to the previous version?
For example, excuse me for asking but is there possibility of any bugs of speed limit tab's program of Users setting of FileZilla Server(ver1.2.0)?
I'm waiting for additional information.
Also, I think I try continuing test in my environment.
Thank you,Mr.MALAGOLI.

Re: Slow single file download speed using filezilla server version 1.2.0 compared to 0.9.x
FTP was already old when consumer modems were the norm. FTP socket buffer sizes inside FTP software are usually set to conservative values by default. They have to be adjusted for modern broadband connections, which is what future FileZilla Server versions will allow. Note that the 0.9.xx versions actually allowed adjustment of buffers, it's possible that they currently can outperform the 1.xx versions, given the right buffer settings.

Thank you for reply.
Thank you,Mr.boco.
This issue may be the same as the individual blog at the URL below.
http://www.andrewwhyman.com/blog/server ... thers/amp/
So, I also referred to the above blog and tested it with FileZilla Server and FileZilla Client that are on the same 1Gbps hub.
However, there was not much difference in speed in my environment.
The result is below. (Is it meaningless if it is a test in the same LAN? )
FileZilla Server(Ver0.9.60 beta)
<Test1> Internal transfer buffer size: 32768 (default) , Socket buffer size: 262144 (default)
Upload 30MiB/s
Download 40MiB/s
<Test2> Internal transfer buffer size: 524288 , Socket buffer size: 524288
Upload 28MiB/s
Download 38MiB/s
<Test3> Internal transfer buffer size: 999999 , Socket buffer size: 999999
Upload 34MiB/s
Download 38MiB/s
------------------------
FileZilla Server(1.3.0-rc1)
<Test4>
Upload 28MiB/s
Download 38MiB/s
------------------------
However, I think Mr.Kosse is busy, but I hope that the Internal transfer buffer size and Socket buffer size will be added as features as soon as possible.
I'm looking forward to new version of FileZilla Server that have the above features.
Thank you,Mr.boco.

Re: Slow single file download speed using filezilla server version 1.2.0 compared to 0.9.x
Your results are nearly identical in all cases, pretty much within measurement uncertainty.
Re: Slow single file download speed using filezilla server version 1.2.0 compared to 0.9.x
Hi, I've just installed FileZilla Server 1.4.0-rc1 and after setting the TCP Buffers to 1024 KiB, both send and receive, I can now saturate the bandwidth between the same locations that I've tested from in the first post.
Thank you and great job @botg.
