We don't have any plan to change this.

At least, please allow the user to add an individual comment to the standard Welcome message that gets displayed along with it. It's the only way to pass a hint to users, as other messaging features don't exist in FTP.

I would appreciate that too, because I'm using this welcome message in 0.9.60 to give some information to the users.
