I have tested it in Ubuntu 20.04.. You can have lets say the service running in 192.168.0.5 and execute the GUI in 192.168.0.10 ...connecting to configure and setup the server.
As far as i know service and gui run independently.

But Windows, the service and gui are "glued" and executed at the same time, so i dont think i could connect from other pc and configure the Server.

The GUI can connect to any instance of the server on any machine it's running on, as long as the version numbers are compatible.

It's not "glued" on Windows.

Make sure to first enable remote administration on the target machine by assigning an admin password if none has been set yet, and add a listener, as by default the server only listens for administrative connections on localhost.
