Move Filezilla Server
How do I move Filezilla Server to a new machine? I have 0.9.60 beta. Should I upgrade frist?
Re: Move Filezilla Server
New machine must be 64bit and Windows 8.1 or higher.
You should install FileZilla 0.9.60.2 on the new machine, using the Installer. Don't move the server files manually. The only files you must move over to the new machine is the configuration file, "FileZilla Server.xml".
After you have moved the configuration file over, upgrade to the new version. The major part of the configuration should be migrated to the (completely new) 1.x configuration format. You will likely need to make a few manual corrections, afterwards.
