This just recently happened
I when I make changes to my website using Front Page and try to upload them using FileZille I now get a Pop Up window with the title " Unknown certificate".
The boxes at the bottom of that Pop Up that need to be selected/checked are not active,
I cannot select/check "Always trust certificate in future sessions".
I cannot select "Trust this certificate on the listed alternative host names".
Because neither of these boxes can be selected/checked is does no good to click on "OK" or "Cancel".
I always end up with these messages:
Response: 331 Password required
Command: PASS ********
Response: 530 User cannot log in, home directory inaccessible.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server
Right Now I cannot make needed changes to my website... Not Good.
I have been successfully updating my website for years using Filezilla.
What has change and how do I get around this problem - Please help.
Thanks

Re: "Unknown Certificate" Pop Up Window - Cannot continue to "OK" or "Cancel"
These are actually two errors that have nothing to do with each other, both are server-side.
1. If the boxes are not accessible the certificate from the server is possibly expired or otherwise invalid. It will tell you the reason in red letters.
2. The other message indicates a problem with the FTP account itself (Home directory not available).
You need to contact server/hosting support to have them resolved.
