Good day,
My setup: Server 2008 R2, Filezilla server 0.9.42 32-bit(yes I know, its old)
I have set up a new server, 2022, and installed Filezilla Server 0.9.42 32-bit on the new server in order to migrate settings, which was done without any issues.
How do I now upgrade to version 1.4, which is 64-bit, without losing my settings?
Thanking yuo,
Mark

First, update your Server to 0.9.60.2, using the installation program.
https://download.filezilla-project.org/server/
Then, the installation of Server 1.4.1 and migration of old data should work without issues. Note that FileZilla Server 1.x is a completely new software, so, you need to check all data after migration. Not everything might be able to migrate 1:1, and there are also some features of 0.x that didn't make it into 1.x.
Check especially the permissions on resources, the permission system has been changed.
