About the error when setting the user password of the FileZilla Server (ver1.4.1).

Hello.

I am currently testing the FileZilla Server (ver1.4.1).
I am a beginner.
Please forgive my lack of study.

Please see attached file.

I entered the user's password in FileZilla Server and clicked the Apply button.
Then I click the Filters tab and I got the error like the attachment file.
(Error message is "Password must not be empty." and Window's title is "Validation conflict".)

Is this a bug ?

If this phenomenon have already been confirmed , please forgive me.

Thank you for reply.
Thank you , Mr.Kosse.
This problem is reproduced no matter how many times I try at my environment (Windows11).
As a workaround, after Step 2, once close the setting screen with the cancel button and reopen the setting screen.
From now on, clicking the Filters tab does not cause errors.
However, I think this method is inefficient.
Is this unique problem at Windows 11 of Japanese version?

Very unlikely.

Thank you , Mr.Kosse.
Is it possible to solve this problem?

The point of this problem is to input the password, Virtual Path, and Native Path on the setting screen, and then click the Apply button like Step 2 Image.
And then I always get this error when I click "Filters Tab".

I hope this problem will be resolved.

I am unable to reproduce this issue.
In Users window, add a new user by pressing Add button, change Credentials: to Require a password to log in, type a random password, press Apply button, try and go to another tab or another user or another tree option from the left side; the Password must not be empty error in a new window should appear.

I get this on Windows 7 as well as in virtual machines running Windows 10 20H2 and Windows 11 running FileZilla Server 1.4.1.

Do you still experience this in the latest nightly build?

Running FileZilla Server 1.4.1 nightly 2022-05-23 I cannot get the error anymore in the 10 minutes of trying different ways to make it happen by setting a password for a user.

Thank you , Mr.AurelM.
Thank you for your information.
Though I think Mr.Kosse is busy , I hope FileZilla Server (ver1.4.2) will be released soon.

Everyone with the stock 1.4.1 experiences this. Luckily, there are workarounds. I'm not using Nightlies because they f*ck up Autostart by displaying a message.
