after setting up filezila server and allowing the ports through my firewall i keep getting this when i try connecting to my share through windows smb: (see attachment)
smb used to work before but it just suddently stopped after using ftp...

I think the order of priority for confirmation items is as follows.

Q1. Is there a reply from the server when using the ping command with the command prompt of the client PC ?

Q2. If smb sentence is expressed by IP address, can you connect to the server ?

Q3

Is the network profile type set to "private" in Network and Internet in the Windows settings on both the server and the client?
What kind of security software do you use on the server?
Have you allowed the use of FileZilla Server in your server security software?
Also, for example, if your server or client uses Norton, is your network trust set to "private" on general tab of Norton's firewall settings ?

Q4. Are the following ports open on the server and your original firewall sysem ?

137 (UDP)
138 (UDP)
139 (TCP)
445 (TCP)

Q4. is the server security software allowed the setting of connecting about the above ports?
