Time in log

#1 Post by carlo.coin » 2022-06-04 13:55

Good morning,
I use version 1.4.1 of FileZilla server and I have activated the log.
I noticed that the time written in the log is two hours behind the system time and what you see in the interactive window.
I don't think I've seen any time or zone setting in the software.
I attach screen shot.
You can help me. Thank you

The time in the log is always in UTC, as denoted by the final Z. The format is ISO-8601.

More info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601# ... Time_(UTC)

Thanks for the quick reply.

If I understand correctly it is not editable and when I read it I only have to add two hours to get to my time zone.

Exactly?

Thank you

Depends on your DST status. UTC does not follow DST, so you may have to add an additional hour to your timezone offset when DST is in effect (like right now).
