Admin Interface Remember Column Widths

#1 Post by CrimpOn » 2022-08-09 20:51

It would be really nice if the FileZilla Server Admin interface would remember the window settings the next time it opens. (Size and location, column widths)
:)

Makes a lot of sense now that the UI is grid-based

Perhaps the issue is that I have not configured something correctly. When the administration screen opens, the columns are too narrow to read.

  • The Date column shows only the year. Month, day, and time are not visible
  • The Info column does not display any relevant information
The only way to make any sense out of the display is to drag the column separations to the right. Maybe after enough time, "muscle memory" will train me to Start Administration, Click Log In, Drag the right margin out, Drag Date Column, Drag Info Column. Move down to bottom panel, drag date, drag Host, etc.

So many other programs remember how they were before the next time they are opened.

To clarify: It makes a lot of sense for the column widths to be saved in Registry.

I'll +1 this one. Seems like it could easily be stored in the filezilla-server-gui appdata folder on a per user basis.
