What is the Main Window?

Installed 1.6.0-rc1 largely because of the comment that:

UI: the main window position and size is now remembered across different runs.

I have been frustrated that every time FileZilla Server started, the Admin window would squeeze all the columns together too tightly and there was this tedious process of dragging the column markers to the right and dragging the right window border to the right. Had to restart the computer just now because of an issue with a different program and discovered that the Administrative Interface window came up the way it always had (so I got to do all that dragging again).

Which leads to the question "If the Administrative Interface is not the Main Window, then what is the Main Window?"

The size of the main windows is now remembered (Administration Interface). Sadly, that is NOT true for the column headers. Hopefully, these will be remembered in the future, as they are much too small by default, especially with IPv6 displayed.

Thanks. Entirely a misunderstanding and wishful thinking on my part. Sometimes written statements mean exactly what they say, not what I wish they had said.

We've recorded the request and the functionality has been scheduled to be implemented.

Next nightly build will contain the functionality.

Feel free to test it out and report back any issues you might find.

Installed nightly build 12/9/2022. Adjusted administrative window. Stopped server. Closed admin window.
Restarted server. Restarted admin window.

Looks good so far. THANKS.

Happy to have helped. :)

Just FYI, starting and stopping the FileZilla Server was not necessary, the change strictly concerns the Administration Interface and the columns state is saved in the Administration Interface's own settings file.
