Hello,
at the moment I am building a Windows setup which also includes the FileZilla server. This works great on a fresh install when I use the /S parameter, but if the server was already installed and it is installed over it again, then you can't start the server anymore. On an installation without silent mode, this works. This is getting fixed when i uninstall and install the server again, or i just install the server without the /S parameter.
Bug seems to occur in version 1.6.0 - 1.6.7.
Up to version 1.5.1 it seems to work.
I have tried it on 2 different systems, both running Windows 10 Enterprise.
Silent install FileZilla Server a second time, makes it not work any more

Does someone else have or had the problem and knows a way around it?
Or will it be fixed in a future version?

As today with version 1.7.2, this is not fixed, as far as I know.

Re: Silent install FileZilla Server a second time, makes it not work any more
I confirm the problem persists even with the current version 1.7.2.
As a temporary solution, uninstall the current version (uninstall.exe /S) before installing the new version.
The problem is caused by uninstalling the original version including the filezilla-server service before installing the new version, but then when installing the new version the service is not installed again.

When it's done it's done. No earlier than that.
