Administration Interface Not Working after Windows Update
Hi!
Windows 11 has just updated and I can´t login again in my Filezilla Server 1.6.7 Administration Interface.
In the first time that I opened the app, it showed me a message asking if I recognizes the fingerprint, I answered yes.
FTP service is also offline.
Message prompted when I open the admin gui
Title: Filezilla-server-gui Error
Content: Could not set current working directory (error 2: o sistema não pode encontrar o arquivo especificado.) (translating to english: the system couldn´t find the specified file.)
I tried to run the installer again but it didn´t change anything.
Any help appreciated!

Do you still experience this issue in 1.7.0-rc1? You can download it from https://filezilla-project.org/download. ... ver&beta=1

Hi Botg,
Tks for your suggestiion.
Error fixed, but all my settings gone.
Is there a way to recover then? At least the user list?
Tk you!

Re: Administration Interface Not Working after Windows Update
Hi,
when running 1.6.7, did you customize the user the service was running under, or did you leave that as by default?
When upgrading to 1.7.0-rc1, did you change that user?
In general, if the user the service is running under is not changed, then the user is "SYSTEM" and the config files are under C:\ProgramData\filezilla-server. If that was your user, do you find anything under that directory?

Re: Administration Interface Not Working after Windows Update
Hi oibaf
In fact, after the latest Windows update, my settings were gone even on the 1.6.7
Checked here and I haven´t a Filezilla folder under C:\ProgramData
What I noted here is that this update probably changed my Windows version, because there is a new Windows.old folder under C:\
Is there somewhere I can look for my old Filezilla settings?
I also have a old hard drive which was running windows 7 and a old filezilla version which I can rescue some files.
Tk u a lot.

Re: Administration Interface Not Working after Windows Update
C:\ProgramData might be "hidden": make sure Explorer is configured to show hidden and system files and directories.
If there's a Windows.old folder, look for the Windows.old\ProgramData\filezilla-server folder. If it's there, then your whole old config is there too. Once you have found C:\ProgramData, just copy the old config over and restart the service. It should just work.
