I installed the server version of FileZilla on my HP Desktop. To make the distance connection with this pc, what hostname do I use? Internal IP, External IP, other?

Depends on where the client is.
Same PC - localhost or 127.*.*.* or [::1] or internal IP;
Same LAN - machine network name or internal IP, needs firewall configuration;
Outside the NAT router - external IP or dynamic DNS URL, Network Configuration, and setting up the dynamic DNS if desired.
