Just upgrade from 0.9.60.2

#1 Post by Cynyster » 2023-09-12 20:02

Good day to all.

I have been using version 0.9.60.2 for quite some time and I noticed that their was an upgrade so I decided to try it out.
I have the old version installer still and I have the configuration backed up so I can revert if I need to.

So far I was able to get everything to work satisfactorily and users and shares work as they did under the previous version (with some tweaking of course)

So to the actual question.
While the current TLS/SSL certificate is functioning. How do I go about generating a new certificate once this one expires.

0.9.60.2 Had a certificate generator built in and I see options for "LetsEncrypt" but not a generator that I recognize.

Could someone point me in the direction of a certificate generator or a tutorial so that I can use LetsEncrypt to my home network.

Thank you all for your time. Cheers.

Nothing changed. Select "Use a self-signed X.509 certificate" and click the "Generate new" button.

Ahhhhhhh Thank you so much.
I didn't see that because the install just imported my old certificate.

Thank you again for your time.

Cheers
