Hi there,
we are looking to migrate to Filezilla ftp server from Gene6. While evaluating Filezilla server we received files from most of the client, except one. The hardware and OS as same as others.
We can able to see that the client is attempting to make a connection (client ip address in the server log ), but received timeout from the server.
We've configured the server to use passive mode and necessary changes had been done to for ward the ports.
From the trouble machine we used the Filezilla client to manually connect to the FTP server but it was unsuccessful. We've deactivated the firewall and tested as well.
Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

If the test at https://ftptest.net/ fails with a timeout after MLSD, some firewall or NAT router a the server's end of the connection is preventing the data connection. Make sure the entire configured passive mode port range is opened in all involved firewalls and forwarded in all involved NAT routers.
