My self-signed X.509 certificate has been expired. I click "Generate new" and a note shows that "Couldn't generate the newcertificate. Please check that your input is correct and try agaln." how to solve it?

Either do not enter anything, or valid information, especially for the "Distinguished name" field.

"Valid" only in the sense that it needs to be a syntactically valid distinguished named.
