Weird failure to copy some files in a folder

Weird failure to copy some files in a folder
See images. Folders all contain discrete music tracks. Most transfer fine. Some do not. Unable to work out why this is happening. I think I am right in saying that windows permissions do not come into it?

Keep in mind that Windows has a limit on how long filenames, including the full path, can be. Give or take 260 characters or so.
Shorten your paths, long paths don't go anywhere. There's no need to tie an onion to your belt, even though it was the style at the time.

You got it! Many thanks. I use Tag&Rename to tag my music, and that happily can filter out over long file names. And make it easy to truncate
