Re-install / Configure not possible??

#1 Post by KSsystem » 2024-03-28 12:39

On a windows server we have:
We were running FileZilla SERVER, now we wanted to update it to a new version but now it no longer works at all.

We have removed the new version FileZilla_Server_1.8.1 and reinstalled FileZilla_Server_1.7.3.
Now it is just not possible to configure the program. The option remains gray / as soon as we press "activate" we get the message:

We have a paid license code for this.

WRONG:
Admin UI [Error] Client failed connection. Reason: ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server.
Admin UI [Error] Failed connection to server 192.168.178.2:14848. Reason: ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server.

> Program deleted
> Reinstalled
> Windows Firewall disabled for test

*It seems that there is still data left behind somewhere or what could be the solution for this?

By default, only localhost addresses (127.0.0.1, ::1) work for administration. All other addresses are refused, for security reasons.
We have a paid license code for this.
Wrong forum, then. Please use the dedicated customer forum. By the way, the Server in the screenshot is not Pro Enterprise, it would say in the title bar otherwise. Pro Enterprise is at version 1.8.6 already.
