FTP Server show 00:00 time stamp to FTP client. Bug?

#1 Post by lognet » 2005-01-04 22:24

Hello All,

I just installed FileZilla version 0.9.4d beta. Created a user account and mapped the user account to the server directories with proper directories/files access right for login, etc. When I use a FTP client (does not matter I use IE browser or other stand along FTP client) connect to the FileZilla FTP server and login with that user account, most directories/files from year 2004 show timestamp with 00:00 AM on the FTP client console window. However, the directories/files made after 2005-01-01 display with correct timestamp. When I check the actual directories/files from the server directory, i.e., view the directories/files from the OS server box, the files timestamp are not shown 00:00 instead shown with the time when the directories/files were being created. It look to me FileZilla serves the FTP client with different file timestamp or translate the timestamp incorrectly.

Is this a bug?

Please advise. Thanks in advance.
