XML File Amendments Problem

#1 Post by Chris147 » 2008-04-28 12:15

Hi,

I'm having a spot of bother with the "FileZilla Server.xml" file:

If I close the progam, make an amendment to the xml file (such as the "IP Filter Allowed" list), save the changes and open the program again the changes don't show up in the console (Settings, General, IP Filters). The xml file doesn't appear to have been read.

On the other hand, if I make an amendment in the consol, it shows up in the xml file straight away.

I guess the real question here should be is it possible to make amendments to the xml file and have FileZilla read them?

Many thanks,

Chris.

Then you didn't fully close the program.

Which you don't have to do anyhow thanks to /reload-config

Ah, the penny drops (I didn't realise that the Server continued running after I had closed the Interface).

Many thanks for your help,

Chris.
