Unable to connect using IE as client

It seems it's not possible use of IE as client of FileZilla Server (version 0.9.5 beta and lower).
IE says the username or password are not correct.
Mozilla Firefox works fine

i'm *pretty sure* i've used IE to connect to FZS without problem. are you sure you're using the correct format?

ftp://user:pass@url.com:21/
