Certificate for SSL

I had FileZilla Server generate the certificate that I'm using for secure SSL. I've got some people on an AS/400 that need to import the certificate into their certificate store, in order to get a good connection to the server. However, it will not import. It also will not import into windows when I try - "This file is invalid for use as the following: Security Certificate". Can you tell me what I'm supposed to use, so that the AS/400 guys can get the certificate to be accepted by their software?
