Trouble with Aliases?

#1 Post by XmanORE » 2005-04-17 19:28

Ok...I'm trying to be good here. I've read the FAQ, tried to find a solution in the forums - but to no avail...

I'm not trying to do anything fancy, just set up an alias for a subdirectory. Image is available here:

I just can't make it show up in the client.

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

D:\Movies is a physical directory. Physical directories have precedence over aliases and since d:\movies itself is not shared it won't appear in the list.

Bingo. I renamed D:\Movies to D:\Videos and all's well.

Many thanks for your speedy reply!
