GnuTLS error -69 in gnutls_x509_crt_get_dn: ASN1 parser: Err

I cannot seem to be able to use secure FTP as I get this:

Error: GnuTLS error -69 in gnutls_x509_crt_get_dn: ASN1 parser: Error in DER parsing.
Error: Could not get distinguished name of certificate subject, gnutls_x509_get_dn failed
Error: Could not connect to server

Now, I am trying to connect to a shared webhosting provider and I am sure that their certificate is OK, as I am able to connect to them on a Mac, just not on Linux.

Any ideas?

Please post the address of the server causing the problem so that we can analyze the problem further.
