Hello friend I'm facing a problem please help me " as I'm a newbie in reseller hosting business so i not know much about its technical end, my domain name is registered in bigrock and I'm hosting my site in host gator on my reseller account, I got the FTP details for my website from the hosting company, but they are not working, can anyone tell me what mistake I'm doing ???

You need to contact the hosting provider if the login data doesn't work.

Try using PASSIVE FTP mode. Sometimes thats the only thing you need to do differently.

I use hostgator too. btw, use a site monitor to check load times. They are appalling sometimes. I'm thinking the only way around this is virtual dedicated server at least. That way all loading is mine. Only problem is moving 60 or so sites is a nightmare.
