Upgrading from 9.43 to 9.44

#1 Post by Pete15 » 2014-04-15 03:30

I'm using version 09.43 and I want to upgrade to 09.44, do I need to uninstall the previous version first then install the new one? Or is there any other way to do it?

Thanks.

You do not need to uninstall the old version, you can simply install the new version over the old.

Will there be any change in settings?

No.*

1. If you run FZ Server under a different account than SYSTEM, you need to re-select it after the update.
2. Everything you select during Setup needs to be adjusted again.
3. If you have XP/2003 you cannot update.

I prefer setting the new rather going with old settings as this helps in getting rid of unwanted stufss which we left bcoz of laziness until it bother us.
