Hello Friends, I am suffering in a problem that
My Friend Offered me His hosting free of cost which i can only access through filezilla. My website is Wordpress Based i uploaded the files but my domain is not accessing the files, and show the hosting advertising page. Please tell how i can solve this problem. as soon as possible... Thanks

Uploading files (ofc into the correct directories) is not enough in that case. If you are Wordpress based you need to transfer the database of that Wordpress instance (mostly MySQL). Usually you do a database dump (using WP maintenance or phpMyAdmin) at the old place and restore the database at the new one. Please note that the hosting has to support PHP/MySQL for hosting Wordpress.

Hey Farooqmaahir
As Boco mentioned you also need to move the DB.
You can change your local host file to see if your new site is working properly before you change your DNS.
It is located in: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
Then the visitors will not see a down-site, and you can check i faster then waiting for the DNS zone to update.
