SSH logon

#1 Post by tobiasbay » 2016-01-20 16:18

Anybody who can tell me how to use Filezilla with SSH? I can't figure it out... Or maybe one of you can link me to a guide for dummies?

Best regards,

For SFTP use Filezilla.
For SSH use Putty.

Ok, thanks.

There's a lot of links on the page you refering to. Which one to choose? putty.exe for Windows on Intel x86 ... or maybe putty-0.66-installer.exe? I'm having a normal desktop with Windows 7...

I'm totally new to SSH, so sorry if my questions are stupid.

First, PuTTY is all command-line stuff. Second, the Installer contains all tools you need.

WinSCP is a normal client with a GUI.
